Vanshpati Smriti Shiksha Samiti, Bhopal established its first engineering college named Patel College of Science & Technology in July 2002 at Ratibad, Bhopal, in order to fulfill cherished desire to participate in the advancement of science and technology for the development of the Nation. Subsequently, a number of colleges under the banner of Patel Group of Institutions (PGOI) were established; Patel college of Pharmacy (2004), Patel College of Education (2005), Patel Institute of Technology (2007) and Patel Institute of Engineering and Science (2008), at Bhopal campus. Patel College of Science & Technology (2006) and Patel College of Management (2005) at Indore.

At PGOI, we have state of art infrastructure for academic education, skill up-gradation and overall personality development of the students through, sports, cultural & co-curricular activities. PGOI is known for its highly qualified and experienced faculty members. Practical application of the skills learnt via internships, seminars & live projects are the regular features of the Institutions besides development of communication, competitiveness, sports, cultural and entrepreneurial activities. Each student is mentored and leadership traits are nurtured to enable them to shoulder increasing responsibilities and prepare them to face difficult National and Global technological situations. Fourteen years is a very short span of time for the PGOI to create its niche in the professional education system but that has been sufficient to establish its brand name in the country. During this period PGOI received many prestigious awards that include Best Private Educational Group in Central India, International Achievers Award in Recognition of valuable contribution made in Technical Education, Rashtriya Vidya Saraswati Award for contribution in technical education, Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award for Technical Education, Shiksha Bharati Award, IEDRA Award (Education) and many more. Regular exposure to corporate events of students with highly successful individuals, expert lectures on latest innovations and developments in the industry enable students to decide for themselves whether to be a job seeker or a job provider.
